This free Bible Study for Mother’s Day will help your church examine and embrace the role and characteristics of a godly mother. This message is both for moms and the people that love them.

BIBLE STUDY SUMMARY

As a mother, it’s easy to get lost in the never ending responsibilities of parenting. So, how do we remind moms that they have a greater purpose than car pools and child care? Let’s ask a bigger question. What’s the point of this whole parenting thing to begin with? Is it just to ensure they stay alive for their first eighteen years? Is it to raise happy kids? Is it it to raise healthy kids? Is it to raise the best athletes possible? What’s the point of this whole thing? Fortunately for us, the Bible gives us some valuable context in Psalm 127. Mothers are like warriors. They are designed to launch their children, like arrows, to places they themselves will never go to do things they could never do.

Scripture: Psalm 127:3-4; 2 Timothy 1:5
