This free 3-part Bible study on Identity helps your students discern and discover their true identities in Christ.
THIS IS HOW THE FREE BIBLE STUDY ON IDENTITY BREAKS DOWN:
Part 1: You Are a Child of God
How do you describe yourself, distinguish yourself, and define your worth? We want to help you discover your true identity. It may seem simple, but few people truly grapple with life’s most important question: “Who am I?” Let’s start by exploring a powerful story in Mark’s gospel about a woman who saw her issue as her identity. As we read, we will see that culture defined her by her desperation, but Jesus defined her as His daughter.
Scripture: Mark 5:25-34
Part 2: You Are God’s Masterpiece
According to the Apostle Paul in Ephesians chapter two, you are God’s artwork. You are the custom creation of the greatest Creator in history. Your identity and intrinsic value comes from your designer. This study answers two significant questions. First, how does God see you? Second, why did God create you? Every single one of us is a masterpiece with a mission.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17;20
Part 3: Your New Identity in Christ
Everyone seems to have a label these days. Look at the brands on our shirts, cups in our hands, and bios on our Instagrams. The Apostle Paul has some thoughts on this topic. He wants his friends in Corinth to know that there is only one supreme label, and it’s not the clothing brand. There is only one label that’s worth your attention and it’s found in Christ.
Scripture: Luke 2:8-12
