Here is How the Character of God Bible Study and Small Groups Break Down:
Week 1: God is Love
God’s love is completely unconditional. It’s not about performance. There is nothing you can do to earn it, and there is nothing you can do to lose it. Because of Jesus, there is nothing that could ever separate you from God’s love (Rom 8). God loves you. Not some new-and-improved version of you. Not some future version of you. God just loves you— despite your failures, flaws, and shortcomings. Let God’s love change the way you live.

Week 2: God is Near
Have you ever had a hard time feeling God’s presence? 1 Kings shows that sometimes God shows up in a small whisper. We live in a noisy world. Our surroundings are extremely loud, from being bombarded with content online to streaming music in our rooms to walking through roaring hallways. It’s loud out there. But God is not far from you. He is near you right now. Slow down, be quiet, and listen for his whisper.
Scripture: 1 Kings 19:11-13
Week 3: God is First
To know God is to put God first. When He is the Lord of your life, you find salvation, identity, purpose, hope, and love that no other person or thing can give you to such a perfect degree. Once you understand who Jesus is and His unfathomable love for you, it only makes sense to put Him first in life.
