Identity Bible Study & Small Group Questions

Identity Bible Study

This free identity bible study is designed to help people find their identity in Christ. You can use this identity bible study in your youth group, church gathering, or as a personal Bible study on identity.

We live in the era of Youtube stars, Instagram follows, and overnight celebrities. In a recent survey by UCLA, nearly one-third of teenagers said that “becoming famous” was important to them. This is a dramatic increase from years before. We live in a culture that is obsessed with fame and popularity. Think about this, though — the God of the whole universe knows you, loves you, and is fighting for you. He created the stars, but He wants to write your story. He is King over the whole planet, but He has a plan for your life. That is way better than fame— the God of all creation knows your name.

This identity Bible study will help redirect your perspective and help you see yourself as the wonderful creation God made you to be.

Here is How the Identity Bible Study Breaks Down:

Week 1: Identity Crisis
Experiencing Jesus can shift your entire identity. You are not defined by your struggles; you are delivered by your savior.
Scripture: Mark 5:25-34

Week 2: Instagram Highlights
Root your identity in God’s purpose which is eternal instead of earthly things which are fleeting.
Scripture: Matthew 6:19-20

Week 3: Fingerprints of the Artist
Your identity is found in God because He made you. You are His masterpiece: worthy, treasured, valued and loved.
Scripture: Ephesians 2:10
