Here is a free youth series on anxiety and stress
Anxiety is a bully. Using the magic of your imagination, anxiety can make your heart race and your palms sweat. It transforms simple tasks into mammoth responsibilities. It encourages us to put off responsibility for months until even starting the task seems impossible. Sometimes it makes us lie awake all night thinking about past mistakes or the worst-case scenario for the future.
Anxiety rears its ugly head when we face stress at school, conflict within personal relationships, pain from past experiences, fear about a future event, or even just a general sense of uncertainty. We know how it starts, but how do we make it stop?
In this series, we will study Paul’s letter to the Philippians paired with the psychology of anxiety to help our students learn to cope with anxiety and stress.
The youth Series on stress and anxiety Includes:
Sermon Series: ‘When Anxiety Attacks’ includes 3 sermon scripts exploring practical and applicational methods for overcoming anxiety and stress based on Paul’s letter to the Philippians and psychology.
Small Group Series: ‘Anxiety and Stress’ include written messages and small group discussion guides that can be used in conjunction with the ‘When Anxiety Attacks’ sermon series, or as four stand-alone small groups.
Devotional: The ‘Psalms for When You’re Stressed’ This 7-day devotional walks students through powerful Psalms that speak directly into the emotions of stress and burnout.
