This free Advent Bible study is designed to help students recognize the true reason for the Christmas season — Jesus. You can use this Advent Bible study in your youth group, church gathering, or as a personal Bible study.

Here is how the Advent Bible Study and Small Groups Break Down:
Week 1: Worth the Wait

When we think of the Christmas story, our minds go straight to baby Jesus in a manger surrounded by livestock. Yes, that is a major part of it. However, let’s reflect on something else in this first discussion— the waiting. Christmas reminds us that God will come through. God’s promises will come to pass. However, God’s promises do not have to follow your proposed timeline. Let’s learn how to wait well.
Scripture: Isaiah 9:6

Week 2: Trust the Timing

Just because God seems silent, it doesn’t mean He is distant. Just because it seems like He isn’t speaking, doesn’t mean He is not working. God is the master of good timing.
Scripture: Galatians 4:4-5

Week 3: The Power of Peace

People experience a problem with peace for a number of reasons: present circumstances, past mistakes, or future worries. I get it. There are hundreds of thoughts and situations trying to steal your peace. Hear me out, though. There is no mistake you can make that will separate you from God’s grace. There is no problem that changes God’s promise. This time of year is all about getting to know the Prince of Peace.
Scripture: Luke 2:13-14
