Late in his life, Paul wrote the book of Titus to a young pastor in the Greek city of Crete. Paul penned this short epistle to address moral failures that could have been pulled right from modern newspapers.
The people of Crete were dealing with a culture completely counter to the teachings of Christ. Paul suggests that we must adopt a countercultural mindset to put everything back into order. The book of Titus gives us three life principles that help us challenge our culture:
- Reject Ungodliness
- Respect Others
- Reflect God
