Procrastination reveals misplaced priorities. Sometimes our distractions start to destroy our roles and responsibilities. When you find yourself procrastinating, you are ultimately putting off a life-changing purpose that God has given you. God’s plan for you is not procrastination — it’s obedience. Jesus echoed this truth in his teaching. He doesn’t just desire a different life for you; he has made a way for you to experience it right now.

Part 2: We Gain When We Give (Serving and Giving)

Your calendar and your bank account reveal a lot about your core values. As you take an inventory of your priorities, ask yourself these two questions: How do you spend your time? How do you spend your money? Correcting our priorities isn’t just about changing our practices, It’s also about having the right perspective.

The people you surround yourself with have a large impact on your life. There is so much power in prioritizing the right people. It’s easier to accomplish big goals when you have good friends to cheer you on and hold you accountable. This brings us to the central message of our discussion tonight — Good friends will take you far.
