Free Galatians Devotional

Galatians Devotional
Here is a free Galatians devotional

You can use this for your personal study, church, youth group, DNOW, or student ministry.

Paul wrote Galatians to his friends to help them make sense of their faith. Christianity was just spreading throughout the world. They didn’t have the Bible yet, as Galatians was one of the first New Testament letters written. There were no theology books or Netflix shows about the life of Christ. Thus, people started following faulty beliefs. The Galatian believers were following a legalistic theology that focused more on rules than authentic faith.

Paul wanted to correct their misconceptions, so he wrote a little letter that packed a big punch. Towards the conclusion of the book, he lays out his core argument by saying, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery” (5:1).

Maybe you’ve been conditioned to feeling trapped in your life. Perhaps you feel as though you’ll always fall into that specific sin. Maybe you feel as though you’ll always battle doubt. You feel as though you’ll deal with guilt and shame your entire life. If you feel that way, then you need to carefully read the wonderful words of Galatians. Jesus broke those chains, and you are free.

This Galatians devotional is designed to help you walk in freedom from this day forward.
