This 4-part topical Bible study is designed to help students overcome common hardships that teens face today.
Here is How the Student Struggles Bible Study and Small Groups Break Down:
Week 1: Grace > Guilt
No matter what you have done or where you have been, God is ready to give you grace. God’s grace says that you’re not defined by your mistakes or missteps. Rather, you are defined by your membership in the family of God. There is no mistake too big for God’s mercy. God’s grace is greater than your guilt.
Scripture: Romans 8:1-2
Week 2: Forgiving Yourself
You can move past your past. Through Jesus, you have received complete forgiveness. God has a second chance waiting for you. The Bible doesn’t just say that God forgives one sin; He cleanses you from ALL unrighteousness. Every mess up, every mistake, every misstep. Jesus will never run out of second chances for you.
Scripture: 1 John 1:9
Week 3: Loneliness
You are not alone when you know Jesus. He cares for you, listens to you, and includes you in His grand plans for the world. He has also blessed you with a supportive community on Earth through the Church. The capital ‘C’ Church isn’t a building; it’s the people all over the world who are dedicated to loving Jesus and others. Connect with these people and commit to doing life together.

Week 4: Beating Burnout
Burnout happens when we are running on empty, but Jesus offers us a path towards fullness & fulfillment. Burnout can be a blessing when it brings you closer to the ultimate source of life— Jesus. Just like the woman at the well, Jesus will go to great lengths to help you.
